The thumper was my absolute most favorite piece of equipment, probably because it was the largest and also the most simple in concept - the thing was designed to bang on the ground real hard, and that's all. Unfortunately, it never worked, so we had to use a crazy pogo-stick-alike sawed off shotgun. O the ignominy!
